JATCO’s Tool and Die Maker Expertise
JATCO sets the global standard for specification, design, and manufacture of precision thermoplastic and thermoset injection molds as well as precision machined components. We are a tool & die company and that means that we employ the best of the best.
Tool & Die makers are an advanced specialty, with capabilities that extend beyond those of machinists in the manufacturing industry. While machinists typically make a variety of parts during the production process with general tolerances; tool and die makers routinely work with tolerances of one thousandth of an inch or less. Tool and die makers
- compute and verify design specifications
- make multiple components
- perform assembly work
- performdetailed blending andpolishing operations.
- Setup, adjust, and troubleshoot a wide variety of productionequipment.
In short, as tool and die makers we are skilled artisans who have learned our trade through a combination of academic coursework and hands-on-instruction, combined with a substantial period of on-the-job-training.
