Laser Marking and Engraving Capabilities
Shallow engraving – Even though the marks are <0.010 deep, the results are durable and permanent. Shallow laser engraving is often used for applications where the end product will be sensitive to environmental conditions such as physical abrasion, temperature, and pressure.
Deep engraving – Depths >0.010 create an extremely durable mark that is often used for engraving steel molds.
Carbonization/Foaming- by oxidizing the carbon on materials such as plastic or aluminum laser carbonization creates a high contrast, raised mark.
